Default Blown Rapezza Driveshaft. Repair?

So, I destroyed my factory rapezza shaft. Just so happens I have another one in my garage that came with the B2 when I bought it. It appears to have the same issue as the one I just destroyed but the other end (t-case end) seems fine. I'd like to just replace the bad joint with the good one from the other shaft but I have no idea how to get these things apart. If it's not worth the headache, what is an alternative shaft I could run as a direct bolt in? She's an 88' with roughly 2" of lift. The drive shaft lasted 10 minutes on the trail (only running 31"s, VERY dissappointing) and for anyone who's been to Elbe, WA knows that getting out of a trail there in front wheel drive is a PAIN! Any help is grealty appreciated. Thanks

AJ

get a shaft from an 84/85 i think, they had a double cardan u-joint at one end and should be a direct fit.

your problem is your lift, with a stock CV shaft, you WILL destroy it if you use a suspension lift.

Thanks! Yes, it was definatley destroyed. Does it matter which tranny is in the 84-85? I'm running the FM146 I believe.

You need to find one with an A4LD if you actually have a 146. If you have a 145 you need one from a 5-speed. Make sure of your trans before getting one.

I'm postive it's a 146. It use to have an AL4D, but it was toast when I got it (hence the 300 dollar price tag!) I threw a 146 in it from a buddies Ranger that was totalled on the side of his house. Free .99! Thanks for the tips!
