I competed in the MD one back in 2007. I think we finished 6th or something. There were a lot of problems that we just overlooked. The biggest one was a couple of interior bulbs were out. Extremely hard to see on a bright summer day in a car with a tan interior. One was under the dash. Took us 5 minutes to find even after we were told where it was.

Also competed in the SkillsUSA automotive competition. Finished 1st in the regional.(Close to perfect score I believe) Then finished 3rd in the state. There were a couple stations for the state comp I completely zoned out on what I was doing. Could have easily won and moved onto the nationals.

Ya I competed back in 2003 when I was a senior in high school. Went to Detroit and competed and took 6th out of 10. I was happy with it as the other teams that took higher places where from vocational schools that worked on the Ford in question every day strait at there home shop. I was in auto tech in high school and to get practice time I had to go to a dealership after school.

Congrats. I'd offer you a pat on the back but you're doing such a good job yourself.

Bet you can't clean all the codes off of my B2.
