those rims are beautiful just like they are.
 
invert your original idea , paint inside the teardrops black , i have seen mountaineers and exploder limiteds with the teardrops painted the same color as the body , looked amazing to me

that idea i like
mine came with 3 of this rims, when i got the 4th one it was from an explorer, and it had the holes and tear drops painted in gun metal gray. it looked really nice.

i cant even get the rims...so i dont have to worry about painting anything now
 
There is a set of the first wheels here at the k-town pull a part. its a stock exploder wheel isnt it?
