Default Someone take a look at this and tell me.....

What possible fixes there could be. Im considering buying it next week maybe. And I can do most of my own work, but I dont wanna get into swapping cams etc.

It would need a rebuild but what about the tranny?? That is another cost you don't need. It is not a sure bet to buy something like this since you can't test run it.....Just be careful and take a good mechanic friend with you, Bro.

The engine is a train wreck and isn't worth chasing the issues out of it.

If you can REPLACE (installed) the engine (running junkyard pull) for less than
what a similar complete vehicle would cost you it might be worth it.

Frankly I don't consider myself to "owning" a vehicle until I've had something
major apart.

I agree, don't waste all of the time to figure out that it's going to need a lot of money to fix - find a different engine, that one is trashed.
