Outlook Question

:icon_confused:Hello folks, I need advice. I have Outlook Express 6 as default e-mail, But I want to change it to Office Outlook 2007. I don't know how,I am somewhat computer savvy(lol) Can someone walk me through the process?BTW I have Windows XP.Thanks
 
in Internet Explorer, look under tools/options and there should be a programs tab there. You should also be able to set that in Outlook, what version of Outlook are you running?

OOops, I see you're running '07. I have it, let me look and I'll get back to you in a bit.
 
Ok, in Outlook, go to Tools/options, then select the tab "Other", there is a check box there to make outlook your default program for email, etc..
 
Thanks for the info. I will give it a try. If it doesn't work right afterward you are in time out lol.
 
I believe from Outlook 2007 you can go to file, Import and import your messages and account settings from Outlook Express as well.
 
Finally got around to doing this. It worked as yall said it woud. Thanks
