Default OEM Pioneer 6-CD w/ Aux

I have a 2005 Ranger FX4 with the factory 290 Watt Pioneer/Audiophile 6-CD sound system. I'm thinking about putting in a factory Audiophile deck w/ Aux input from a 2007-2009 Ranger with the same sound system. Will the 2007 deck plug right in to my 2005? What would be involved in adding the Aux harness/wiring. Thank you!

I found a unit out of an 08' or 09' and plugged it in and it works great! This new stereo has a 20-pin connection on the back that my 2005 didn't have. I'm assuming this is the plug to use with the "aux" button, but I bought an iPod interface to plug into in and it doesn't work. I called the manufacturer of the interface and they said it doesn't work unless the head unit has external CD-changer controls. Anyone know how I can use 20-pin connector and get the aux input to work?

I would like to do this as well. I have a 2006 ranger with the Pioneer 6 disc mp3 changer, and of course I haven't used MP3's in like 5+ years. I found some of my old CD's that I had burned MP3s onto (for a Sony MP3CD Walkman) and promptly got them stuck in the player (cause they had stick on labels with the contents). I have thought about borrowing my old PC back from my little brother (that had a tray-load CDROM) so I could copy the CD's back to HDD and re-burn them to new CD's without labels, but I'd rather just plumb an iPod directly in. I have heard bad things about using FM modulators (maybe FM doesn't have enough frequency range, don't know??). I know that my current stereo does not have an "AUX" button, which means I want one with an AUX button, but don't want to go replacing a bunch of stuff. How/Where did you find the 2007+ replacement system? and how have you gotten along on the install process?

TIA,
Tommy
