patchin up some rot spots, potential other work.
well of course here in wonderful NY rust destroys everything. so in an effort to save my truck, i spend an hour patching up some body rot, nothing big, this is the second of 3 spots i need to tackle. then this summer i'll be doing my hood, gas cover, and tailgate.
this isn't the spot i painted, i forgot to get a before picture, this is the one i still have to paint. but you get the idea.
and Done. you cant see it as obviously from a distance, it isn't really meant to look good. just stop the rusting process.
the underneath however, is a lost cause.
my next project, besides my slave cyl. is to buy a new grille. guess where my dumbass cousin decided to push when i got stuck this winter? (my 4x4 was busted.)
and what color should i paint my new grille once i get it? it'll be a junkyard one. i'm thinking chrome, or black. any opinions?
i'm absolutely loving this weather. it should be about 40F and rainy this time of year here, buts its sunny and warm!!! btw would you believe my phone took those pics???
