hey all i recently had my 84 bronco II ignition wiring(dura spark conversion) done by a 4x4 shop and when it starts it sounds kinda weird. when it had the tfi it started great, meaning when i turned the key it cranked over very strong judging by the sound of it turning over. after the duraspark conversion was done it sounds like its not cranking as strong as before. to me it sounds like its not cranking over with enough juice from the battery. my BII wiring colours are different than what the tech page says on this site. i am thinking the new source of the power for the starter is inadequet. is there any way of testing the amount of power the starter is draining when it is cranking over the engine? volt meter? tommorrow i am going to check and write down all of the wiring/colour connections and such so i can make a map of the ignition wiring. i am also trying to locate the original starter wire to see if i can hook that up.

Check your terminal connections on the 4ga wire that connects to the starter and the relay. Corrosion will cause a hard starting condition. Check for corrosion under the sheathing as well.

i will check that. thanks.
