i have been trying to figure out the wiring on this 4.0 swap... no luck. going by what someone posted in the tech area i hooked up a red/ltgreen from the 4.o harness and a red/ltgreen from the 2.9 driverside harness. but it keeps blowing the ignition fuse. i'm at a loss right now and need some serious help please! the chiltons manual and haynes manuals suck too

what year sploder?
i just leave the sploder eec harness intact and power through the diode on the switch side...the color for that varies. sounds like there is a short to ground

Its a 93. Have you done this swap? I also can't figure out how to connect my fuel pump to my power dist box. Everything came out of a running explorer
