Angry 1990 L4 ignition control module.

After looking just about everywhere I have come to the conclusion that this part is made of gold. It has to be!! There is not a salvagae yard with 150 mile of me that has one. Does anyone know what other vehicles have the same module? Mine is the distibutorless engine.

yeah a stang with a 4 banger and thats it. They are expensive, the stangs have a "relay module" for the fuel pump and a few other things, I had to buy a new one about 3 yrs ago, $250.....

These things rarely (and I mean very very rarely) go bad. If you're having ignition problems I would highly recommend checking and cleaning every other ignition part on the truck (including the engine wiring harness and grounds) before replacing the ignition module.

I can always find plenty in the junkyards around here. The problem is that the stupid torx head mounting bolts are always frozen in the aluminum intake manifold and rarely come out without a torch or sawzall.
