Default Rear axle of 95 ranger??????

does anyone know what kind of rear axle comes stock in a 95 ranger?

Your door tag should have an axle code that you can use to find out the type and gearing using the link that Chance posted.

For example, my rear axle code is 84. This means that my truck has a 7.5 rear end geared at 3.45 and if it was a 4x4, the front would also be 3.45.

I disagree. I have seen 4x4 trucks with 7.5 rear ends.

ya look at the sticker on the inside of the driver's door.. my 93 XLT 4x4 4.0L has an 8.8 L/S..

I don't check older axles because they're not the right size for my Ranger.
