Finally got it lifted!

6" prototype lift on my Explorer with 35s. Rides and drives just like stock with minimal roll due to removal of both sway bars. I love it!! Going wheeling this weekend to test it out.

It is still spring under for stability and less spring wrap.

New coil buckets accept either RBV coils or EB coils. Running the RBV 6" coils now, switching to EB (either stock or 3.5" lifted) when I do the solid axle swap on it in a couple of months.

If you have any questions I will try to answer them. Will post pics. when I get back from wheeling it.

Elaborate on the Prototype part?

This a Duff lift that is going to be a full Explorer Kit offered by Duff?

Interested to see how the coil bucket will be universal? Does it have interchangeable cups in the seats?

Prototype as in not offered for sale. Testing new coil buckets that were made. I have set 1 of 1. Rear springs are being tested as well. SPUA=complete bolt on kit with no welding required. Buckets are pretty much identical to EB buckets with a few changes.
Notice the keeper on the coil spring like the EBs have? To swap to EB coils all you have to do is change keepers and bottom coil seat. On a SAS all you'd have to do is swap keepers. Simple enough.
Like I said, this is kit 1 of 1. I have approx. 20 miles on it so far. It is being tested and, depending on a number of factors, will or will not be released to the public. I am very lucky to have been chosen to test it out. All I can say so far is it rides and drives like a dream.

About time they stepped it up a bit. Now if their stuff wasn't ridiculous in price. $250 for the coil buckets is a bit much if you ask me.

so i know when you go to a solid axle your selling that duff lift to me right?
Actually the only thing that will be pulled will be the drop brackets. Everything else will swap over to a SAS. At least that's the plan right now. We will see in a month or two.

where you gonna test it and when?

Going to Windrock this weekend to do some testing. Some of the shop people are going to see how it does.

Are they prototyping a TTB kit that you actually can run a GOOD set of coils on? What's the deal with the SAS plan?

Good coils? I think the coils I have are fine. I've hit every speed bump and railroad crossing at speed and they have soaked them up like they were nothing. I know they will settle a bit but when it rolled out of the shop it measured at 6.25 inches of lift.

As far as the SAS plans, I really have no idea right now. All I know is we are going to do it when they think we have enough testing on this kit. I already have my axles at their shop.

They have been talking about producing a SAS swap that is bolt on kit. I think they can do it but need to be smart about it. They are going about it correct but they are too slow to the plate. Should have been done long ago. They already have 95% of the parts.

I have full width 78 bronco hp44 and 9.

As far as the SAS. Yes it has taken a while. After they moved to TN they basically dropped out of the RBV market. Just recently they have started trying to come up with new products for the RBV community. What other bolt on SAS kit is out there? When you got 2 Fabricators, 2 salesmen, & 1 shipping guy you can't crank out new products every month. EBs are their thing and the RBVs are something that they are wanting to get back into. Wait a while and the products will keep coming.
