Not sure if I can really call this a build since my strategy has been to upgrade things as needed. Its been a rather slow evolution, but thought I'd show some pics. I'll try to post new things as they happen.
This truck started as an 89 xlt 4X4 2.9 auto. in its current configuration has the following:
Explorer 8.8
Explorer Dana 35
FM146 5 speed
4.56 gears
James duff radius arms
Superlift 4" leafs coils and drop brackets
2" body lift
1 pc. drive shaft
33X12.50X15 Truxxus MT's
Here it is a few years back with original running gear (sorry don't have any pictures of it before the lift.)
Explorer 8.8 installed
1pc shaft
dana 28 (to be removed)
Dana 35 with james duff radius arms
87 throttlebody
Some rust repair
And some Mud
In the distant future I would like to lose the body lift and lift brackets, extend my beams and put some 64" leafs in with a shackle flip. but for now I have other projects to finish.
