alright i live in the desert and i hate whoops and having 9 inches of travel soooo i either have to move out of the state or build a truck that can handle the desert floor and i chose :icon_welder:

i first pulled my doner beams out from underneath a 1993 expo. with 99000 mi on it leave it to me not to take any pix of it before any work was done on it but it looked stock so u get the picture lol my first job was to clean em and pull the diff.,axles, spindles, seals, brakes, off and to get started plating the bottom of them i chose 1/8 plate for this job because well I'm pretty sure I'm going to thank my self later for that :icon_idea:

that was my budy and yea i did lol i was showin him the lower ball joint relocation

very cool, are you cutting/turning them at any point? Also are you extending them at all or are you still gunna run 4x4 with coil and shock?

im gona be going 2.5 over on each side and relocating the lower ball joint but i think im going to be running coil and remote resi unless i can aford some f o as

Looking sweet man, keep up the awesome fabbing

If I were you i would keep an eye out on RDC for some used SAWs or Kings before getting F-O-As. I found my SAWs for $700 with coils, hardware, valved for a simalar set-up and they work amazing.

i think i nmught just go coil and shock i am just going to have to fing some porgressive rate coils and some used kings on rdc its just going to me interesting finding some way to use coils with my beams being 2.5 inches wider on each side

Sure, it's not TIG and clearcoat it pretty....but damn, those look good! Looks like ya know what your doing but I have to ask, did you clearance the window in the beams for more travel/clearance?

not yet but im gonna i kinda am waiting on a plasma for that lol

did some cutting today got the driver side beam cleaned up and ready to be finished welded and also got to cutting on the beam for my 2.5 inch extension =]

the last few pix are showing where i want to cut my lower baljoint loose and slide it out any other idias

any ways i got all of the plating done and also got the extension done 2.5 inches on each side =] there almost done just gotta add the truss and relocate the lower ball
not bad for a 18 yo in his garage eh?
