Hey folks so I have come across a really great deal on aluminun rims with 75% BFG AT's to replace the rusted out pieces i have. The only thing is they are 30x9.5/15. I was looking for something bigger, but am not sure if that is too big. I have a 97 2wd 3.0 L with pucks on the front end to remove the nose dive. I know it will affect the gearing and speedo etc, but for a $150 for the set of 4 I think it is a great deal, but how much would it affect the ratios?? It has 3.73 in it now, and it seems the equivalent ratio would go down to 3.21 or something like that. And for a daily commuter that is just fine by me.

Any fast thoughts or comments would be much appreciated

My little 2.8 doesn't get around too bad with 235/75-15's and 3.73's, which should be close to the 30's you are looking at. If it can do it, I wouldn't think a 2.3 or 3.0 would have much of a problem.

Yeah it should be fine, my 2.8 pushes 31's fine little slower but fine. Same with my 3.0L still has the giddy up power there. Both also have 3.73's.

You should be good

not to hi jack the thread, but what about a 4.0 with 3.08 and 30 inch tires?

i kinda figured. just one more thing to add to the list
