The mazda trans in my truck went bad and I bought a mitsubishi fm146. I 'm wondering if I will have any issues hooking it up in my ranger? Help please!!

It'll bolt up, but it is the weaker of the two tranny's.
Also, the shifter is further back, so the boot/plate combo you have may need 'adjustments'

the shifter boots and floor plates are completely different, 2nd gens came with both transmissions so it should be cake to get the right floor plate and bolt it right in
