Default Camshaft upgrade

i was wondering what would i have have to do if i upgrade to a bigger cam and still keep fuel injection. 1991 ranger 2.3

and this was on a thred on the next page look around noone likes to repeat thereself

you can only go like one size bigger on a 2.3 cam due to the clearance in the head. anything bigger and youll need machine work done.

go to the link that was suggested up above and contact them @ delta they know what they are doing and you won't have to guess.
if you call them ask for scott or john. they have been racing these engines for yrs.

not much without stroking it and porting the hell outta it and alot of other machining, turbo is the best route to get the most outta 2.3s far as i know.

Cam is a waste of time and money, N/A.

If you go with a delta cam, you need to run lash caps or your rocker arm geometry will be all messed up, and you could potentially have problems.

The 2.3 has one of the most complicated rocker arm geometry setups of any engine. You have measure the base circle of the cam, Stock vs. Mod. and make the difference up with lash caps.

Even though I like delta cams, and have used their cams quite a bit, I would not put a reduced base circle cam in a 2.3.

you can get a cam from delta cams with a factory sized base circle.
you need to talk to them. before you do anything and like I said they know these engines very well. call THEM

what kinda of crank for a stroker up grade

one compleatly new or out of another engine
