that front end looks like a suburu.

the rest looks like a sport trac.

Why can't they just build gen 1's again? I would love to buy a new one!
I'd be really cheap for them to make them too!

Capacity?

What's the bed capacity -- about two cubic feet?

All I can say is :badidea:whoever did the design. Putting a 3L diesal in a ranger, that should be interesting.

why is that such a bad idea? seems like a diesel ranger is what every other member of TRS is hard for. why is the 2.5L diesel so much better then a 3.0 diesel?

It looks like a nissan pickup.....

Why is diesel motor so bad? Only because its new and nobody knows enough information on them? My understanding is that a diesel fuel is a good way if you're looking for MPG when buying a vehicle.

My understanding is that a diesel fuel is a good way if you're looking for MPG when buying a vehicle.

not to mention it would undoubtedly out-tow any of the gas engines available in the states.

im not even a big diesel fan and i still dont think its a bad move.

No thanks on the double cab, one of my biggest reasons for having a pickup is so I don't have to cart a bunch of friends around in it. Save a ton that way in MPG!

Piston Honda Gives Thumbs down!

But If I could get a diesel in mine I would!

Putting a 3.0 diesal would be interesting especially since it has always been a gas enigne.

the 3.0 diesel is in no way related to the 3.0 gas engine. in fact, i dont believe a 3.0 gas engine was even offered in the over-seas trucks, so there will be no confusion.

i agree on the body style though. the front end reminds me of the newer explorers, which looks just about the same as pretty much any other newer SUV/truck. vehicles are just becoming too cookie cutter for me.

I like it too, don't care for the subaru looking thing on the front of the bed, but the rest I like. I kind of like the diesel idea, they get better mileage than gas with gobs of torque.

That is a nice truck, but that $35k+ would get a very nice F-150. Of course the market for trucks in Austraila may be different than in the US too.

On a somewhat related subject they have began production of the 4.4L V-8 diesel for the new F-150's.
