Default Emission test trouble

Just had my Illinois Air Team emission test performed.Truck passed, wouldn't re-start for attendant or myself, untill waiting about 10min.Never had starting problems of any kind untill now!The test involves no more than plugging into my trucks OBD test port and running a scan of the vehicles emission equipment.Vehicle has 43,000 miles and has been well maintained.I was assured this test had nothing to do with the difficult start afterwards?Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated, thanks.
