Default Flex fuel filter?

Hey folks,

I have been trying to figure out for a few days what kind of motor I have... Its a 2000 3.0 and I do not have the body to get the VIN. Ford was no help and a local parts store pulled up some pictures for me of the fuel system... According to them, the flex fuel filters have a single line in and out, while the normal fuel systems have two lines in and one out...

Does this sound correct? Mine has a fuel filter with two lines in and one out.

Thanks for any pointers!
