Once again we are planning another wheelin trip/meet and greet, we are having a small but good turnout. We are planning a trip to Land Between the Lakes (LBL or Turkey Bay) in Northwest Tennessee / Southwestern Kentucky.
Date: Sept 12-13, 2009 Here is the website address to the facility: http://www.lbl.org/OHVTrails.html Here is a map of the ORV trails: http://www.lbl.org/LBLTurkeyBayMap08.pdf Here is the website address to the camping: http://www.lbl.org/CAMPTurkeyBay.html Food: - Each attendant will be responsible for their own food and drinks. - There is ice available to purchase at the lodge where you buy your ORV pass. Camping: - Each attendant will be responsible for their own camping. A 3 day camping permit is required and cost $5 per person. - You can rent camping equipment here: http://www.lbl.org/RatesAndHours.html ORV Permit: - Each vehicle MUST have a 1-3 day ORV sticker to be on the ORV park. To get the permit you must have THIS waiver with you at the time of registration. Available at any welcome center or at ORV main entrance gate, $15.00 each vehicle, not each person. ORV rules and regulations: - http://www.lbl.org/08OHVRules-Regs.pdf - Please print them, read them, and sign a copy to bring with you. I want people to know the rules when they come on the ORV park (RangerSVT's request). http://www.lbl.org/08OHVRules-Regs.pdf Vehicle Requirements: - Front and Rear tow points - Tow strap - CB radio (not required, but EXTREMELY helpful if you are stuck since cell service probably isn't good there) Members who will be there the 12th: 1. RANGERSVT 2. Railman 3. Members who will be there the 13th: 1. RANGERSVT 2. Railman 3. TRS members who plan to ride 1. Taragon 2. Members who are probable: 1. Frank the Tank 2. klogtruck 3. Billet 03 4. Guests from other Forums 1. 2. For those who would like to go but your rig is not trail ready, feel free to bring your 4 wheelers. If you don't have a 4 wheeler and still want to attend, get with a member who is going as he/she may have an open seat or two. Members who have an empty seat: 1. 2.

Yeah...... seriously, I don't think they know what they're missing.
Good people, great trails, landscape, and you can challenge yourself and vehicle as much or as little as you want and never lose the rest of the pack. Frank |

![]() ![]() needless to say Rick helped me out big time, and we were out wheeling again just a couple weeks and one "new" engine later so if it is something simple, sure you wouldn't be stranded at all, plus you would have 3 new friends to help ( Rick, Frank, and me ) l8r, John |

Well, I guess I can go on the "probables" list. I will have to see how the new job goes. If they try to cut-in on my weekends too much, then I guess that they will be looking for another monkey. I don't mind a weekend now and then, but, the weekends have been and will stay, mine, to work or waste as I see fit. Anybody mind a not-really-modded' BII tagging along? Either that, or you get the built-up Jeep Comanche coming to play "Cowboys and Injun". The Ranger is still under the knife, and will most likely still be in Sept.
