I'm having a similar problem to Kalwren
My engine had the rough idle issue after driving to the point that the engine was completely warmed up, then stopping for a while. It was 92 degrees outside. After sitting for 30 minutes and starting the engine, it wouldn't respond to the throttle. It will idle rough, but stepping on the gas pedal wouldn't produce any RPM. The engine would stumble and act like it was trying to RPM up, but instead it just ran rough until I let off the gas pedal. Then it would idle again, but it would idle a rough.

ran my codes KOEO said 111, 111, 232, 232
haynes doesn't have 232. any ideas?

I ran KOER and got 116 after full throttle (didn't throw this code the second time): "Coolant Temperature sensor out-of-self-test range

Background info. Replaced my failing 94 4.0 with a 93 explorer 4.0. Drove it a little with no problems and drove it 75 miles no problem. Sat for 8 hrs and drove it 30 min with no problem. Ate dinner, maybe an hour, came out an after crank it idled rough and engine light came on. Checked my coolant and it was way low. Thought I blew a head until I read the post above. When I jumped the EEC the idle calmed down and the throttle moved through the RPM range without any of the problems. Pulled the jumper out and idle got rough and engine light came back on.

I have a new purge flow solenoid and a newer fuel filter

Any ideas?

So FordF150.net says EEC-IV code 232 is "Primary circuit of ignition coil (IGC) " whatever that means?
