my trans is in the process of taking a dump in my driveway and i want to replace it.. and i want something that going to be strong, i have a sas project in the works for this truck and if im going to be doing alot of off camber driving then what would be the best bust least PIA.
i have the 4r44e attched to the 3.0 and borg 1356(i think) electric trans case.. the o/d is blinking its slipping like crazy, it locks up when put in 1st or 2nd but "drive" lets those gears semi work.. still lots of slipping
soo my main ? is what would be a possible fit for my engine, i have a good mechanics mind so i can swap it myself and do some wiring but i cant cnc my own adapter plates and what not..
any help would be VERY usefull
and the tech section says NOTHING!!!!! about 3.0's so thats not an option
ill make a thread on the swap also so all us users have a good 3.0L tranny section to look at
