manual to auto swap

Hey guys, i have a 99 ranger with a 96 exolorer 5.0, and a tremmec 3550. I want to swap it back to an auto. the truck has all the auto tranny codes deleted from an sct tune. What trans could i run? Looking for something to hold some power

thanks, what all is involved in the swap? will my current crossmember work, what will i need for a driveshaft?

it should be a direct swap, might have to elongate the transmount holes in the crossmember. if you are sure it is a 3550, driveshafts should work also, if it is a TKO, the yoke on the trans end will have to be changed also.
