Help! I just purchased a 2001 Ranger XLT. So far it's great; however, I had the engine running and got out of the vehicle and shut the door. Well, the door locked automatically behind me. It left me locked out of my running vehicle! Not a fun sight. Also I noticed that once you are in the vehicle and the doors lock automatically you cannot unlock them by hitting the "Unlock" button the the door. Am I nuts! Is there a way around this? It really makes no sense how easily you can get locked out of and locked in your own vehicle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
