need quad help

heres the dillio

i have an 89 zuki quadrunner 4x4 250

i just rebuilt the carb and now it will run really rough
wont idle at all and hesitates and holds back at fill throttle
i love it and am wonderin if anyone has any idea what it could be

youve done something wrong in the carb since now it runs rough. float sticking?

ya i did
it was at whatever it was instaid of 1 inch from body
i fixed it but it still is a lil rough and wont idle
i need to tune it a lil and see if i can get it to run right
i need it this winter(i bought a plow yesterday for it)

Have you messed with the jets/needles at all? Alot of times any spec of dirt theat gets in between these can cause this lol. Also I know it sounds stupid and easy, but was it fresh gas you put in?

its fine now
i took it to a mechanic my dad has gon to for 30+ years
2 freakin days he had it perfect
without a book for the specs
he is a god to me
