Hello I am new to the forum. I recently purchased a 1990 b2. I would like to change the front and rear diff fluids. Should I use 80w90 in both? Also what should i use in the transfer case? thanks for any help.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but the diffs get 90w and the transfercase gets 140w. That what my f150 calls for.

the diffs get gear oil...weight isnt important.

transfer case uses dextron III ATF.

aprox. how much gear oil would i need for both diffs and atf fluid for the transfer case so i don't buy to much or to little?

My 1979 f150 took two quarts in the front and transfer case and three quarts in the rear.

the transfer case takes just over 1 quart. front axle takes 1.75 quarts and rear takes 2.5 quarts.
