Default Need help finding vin number on 1950 something f-100

hey guys i think it is between a 1953 and 1956 and i cant find the damn vin number or any other information on it. i need an idea where to look. i have already looked inside the door on the dash on the fire wall and nothing i think the vin might be somewhere on the frame but i don't have any idea where don't know if it matters but it is missing the engine and tranny. ANY IDEAS?

upper part of the a-pillar perhaps? Thats where that Era chevy truck has it. Check on the drivers door itself also, Ford that had retarded idea in the 70s maybe they did it in the 50s too.

Everything untill like 80 in the Ford truck field had it put on the door.

The 50's may not even have a VIN.

Chances are its not the right doors. My dually's VIN says its a F100 :P

thanks guys the id plate is inside of the glove box it is a 1954
