Default Rack and Pinion on Gen 2

Has anyone put a rack and pinion steering on Ranger the came with a steering gear box? Have any pics? IM thinkng that this would eliminate all kinds of problems

The pivot points of a TIB don't match the pivots of a rack and pinion. It would have HORRIBLE bumpsteer. If you swapped in a Pinto/mustangII front suspension, the rack would work right and the truck would handle like a car!

Get your welder.

It may be easier to swap in a later model ranger ifs. but even that would be plenty of work.

They sell custom, weld in, Pinto based front suspensions for drag Racing. They are designed to weld into a tube chassis though.
It is only money, If you have enough, You can do whatever you want.
