i want to kno what i can do performance wise 2 my 4 banger without swapping a new motor in and spending money

I put a chip.K&N air filter.and free flow muffler on mine.it definitly helped it.but its still a 4cyl.hypertech makes a 30 horse chip.but its about 300 bucks.that is what i put in mine.you might have to go with a cooler thermostat if you put in a good performance chip.keep in mind. you only have about 100 hp to start with.so anything will help some.
