Default UrbanRedneckKid's Build Thread

I've started! Finally!!

Here's the plan,
Front:EB D44, Cage progressive-rate 5.5" springs, DOM steering and tracbar/1ton GM TRE's from Ballistic Fab, Dana Powr-Lok and 5.13s up front, Disc brake swap, Chro-Mo axles/720 u-joints.

Rear:Exploder 8.8, detroit Locker, 5.13s

Due to snapping my D35TTB in starting this project earier than I hoped.

Today I started stripping down my D44 for rebuild.

Nice little junk pile

Yes, those are chevy parts

And the best part... my boss loaned me his truck till mine's done.

Long story, tried to cross a creek in a swamp. Snapped a LF axle/u-joint, LF hub, as well as the axle beam all at the same time. Stupid move on my part. I have a video, I'll see if I can get it uploaded. Lesson learned, Momentum doesn't make up for a lack of tire size...
