So I'm running into my problems with '85 Waggy D44. I picked it up wicked cheap with the leafs with the intention of installing manual hubs. Not a problem. I'm stripping it down getting ready to sand blast it, install the chevy 44 knuckles and the high steer kit.
I usually use a friend's garage equipped with tools and all, but he's in the process of moving and I'm very limited to what I can use.
The Ubolts are stuck like none other. They've been soaking for a week now with bi-daily sprays of penetrating oil. They're still stuck. I've thrown everything I have at it so far, including the giant hammer. Nothing. Is it time to use the torch and just cut the mofos off?
I'm close to having all the parts gathered and being able to actually start the swap and this is just taking up too much of my time waiting for the oil to do it's job and for me to grow muscles big enough to tear the bitch off.
Time to torch?
