I recently bought a Line of Fire LED bar for my Ranger and it uses a square trailer switch. So when I look under my truck, I see this:
![]() I've never seen that kind of plug before and after looking at adapters, it doesn't look like it fits any of them. I could be completely wrong about this and the answer is obvious, but hey, if you don't know then ask

i believe that is the harness ford uses to plug into their adaptors. you need to swing by your ford dealership and buy the pigtail that plugs into that plug.

there's an inline adapter that plugs between those two plugs and has the standard 4 prong plug on the side.

Anyone wouldn't happen to have a picture or specific name for this, would they? Are they just called "pigtails"?

Yeah, I got mine for my F-150 at Carquest for $20, Ford is usually the last place I go for stuff like that. Aftermarket strongly supports just about anything to do with hooking a trailer to your truck.

At last, I found one. It was the LAST one at Pepboys. No one else had one, I was surprised.
