I converted my 99 to an 01 edge. I changed the fenders so I would have the holes for the flares and the hood to the edge style but the fenders and hood are not required.

I also did an 04 conversion on my 2000 I am driving now with certifit parts(good prices)

I like the 04 much better but you will need a hood for that.

I just changed my 98 to to the 01-03. You need the 01-03 header panel and the clips for the headlights. Everything bolts on. My wire plugs for the marker lights are different from the ones on the marker lights. The big problem I had with after market grills is that Ford had 2 different hoods in 01. One for the honeycomb grill and one for the other grill. I think all after market grills are made to fit the honeycomb hood which is straight across in front and the 98 hood has a little rise above the grill. My 98 hood had a gap between the grill and hood with the honeycomb grill. I have to go to Ford and get a factory Ford grill to fit with my hood.

This is a nice set of pictures and a question that I bet gets asked often. You should write this up in more detail and submit it to Jim Oaks for a tech article. Very nice paint and body work . . . very nice.

LOL. Wvcat rebuilds/fixes Rangers as his little hobby and/or money making. lol. He's got parts galore and he's working on truck like #20 right now. lol. My guess is that his conversion cost him pennies since it came on one of the many trucks he's got. lol.
