Drivers Seat for 2000 Ranger - What Fits?

The Drivers Seat for my 2000 Ranger is worn out. The cushions are so flattened I get a back ache after an hour behind the wheel.

I was wondering 2 things:

Can the drivers seat be swapped with the passengers side seat? Or are they left/right specific?

What year seats are interchangeable? A trip to the bone yard may be my best bet. I have 2000 xtra cab 4 door if that makes a difference.

I Have 2000 Ranger And I Just Bought 2001 Explorer Sport Trac Seats

WILL EXPLORER SPORT TRAC BUCKETS FIT MY TRUCK IT CURRENTLY HAS A 60/40 SEAT WHICH IS REALLY BAD - NO CUSHION LEFT - HAS ANYONE TRIED THESE SEATS AND HOW MUCH WORK TO FIT THEM IN MY TRUCK :icon_confused:

Thanks for the info. The list is interesting but....All of the seats are even older than my truck. I doubt any seat that old is going to be in better shape than whats in the truck now.

Does any one know if a 2001 and up Rrager seats fit?

2001 and up absolutely WILL fit. Should line up and bolt right in.
