Hello,
I have a 94 Eddie Bauer and the heat/fan only turns on when i put the knob on high...i think its a switch near the firewall on the big aluminum foil looking thingy haha...any help would be nice...Thanks Alot!..
Oh yea the thermostat was done last spring...

the part you want is the blower motor resister, it is to the right of the blower motor in the foil covered thing. it has 4 or 5 wires going into a plug in it. and there's 2 - 8 mil(5/16) screws holding it in.
replacing :icon_hornsup:that should let you have all heat levels again

thanks...now that resistor is a dealer part right? no one would have that in stock..
about how much you think it would run me??
Thanks Alot Guys appreciate it!

actually i bought one for my old '98 ranger at advance auto parts . i'd try a local parts store and call the dealer, parts store may have it cheaper

31 bux CDN at the dealer here ( I get family price, so I guess it'd be $50 tops)
I put one in mine from an older gen 1 Ranger... It didn't fit until I cut it up a little tho.
One thing I did do was cut the wire for the slowest speed... Hate having the fan run all the time when I don't need it.

Would no lower speeds on the blower motor on a '96 Explorer limited with the automatic temp. controls be the same problem?
