Which 4.0? OHV or SOHC. Explorerexpress.com makes one for the SOHC, and I think the only ones for the OHV are kits that use the old supercoupe eaton charger, that some guy puts together in his house.

1996 = OHV, here's a site to get what you need, http://www.brothersperformance.com/c..._description=1

oh, and it's the SOHC(2000 or 2001 and up) that uses the M90 s/c and a rpcaster kit

I graduated from school with a guy who had a beefed up f250. im not sure what his lift was exactly but his tires were 44's, he had true duel cherry bombs coming out the back. even had a flamethrower kit on his exhaust pipes. Thing was a beast. makes my ranger look like a tonka toy

Yeah my dad threw a 383 stroker in his 1990 S-10 with a SAS, and 38's on the ground. Funny when I went to high school hot heads who thought their shit was fast I'd hear " yeah some old guy in a big blue chevy smoked me" I would just bust out laughing just thinking about the look on my dad's face when they stopped at the next red light!!!! But ya I've fancied the thought of a mild 302 or 351 in my 1991 ranger 4.0 5spd 2wd, but damn I love the mpg my peppy 4.0 gives me!!!
