Loose shifter

I have a 94 Ranger 5-speed, and the shifter itself is not loose but when you put it into gear the shifter can move about quite a bit. Any thoughts??

You need a new shifter....

Or at least the bushings inside it.

get the bushings, its a real simple fix. Made WORLDS of difference on our 88 ranger.

and there is always this option, 200+ through jegs/summit but works great. ive had mine a year now.

Where are the bushings located on a 94?
