i put a dome light from a 04 F-150 in my 95 ranger it is soooooo much brighter than the ranger one, the only "mod" i had to do was there was a little plastic "stick" on the back of it and i had to break it off in order for the dome light to sit flush against the headliner. all the wiring is the same, just put the screws in and turn it on:icon_thumby:
the dome light from a taurus also fits like a glove:D

Go to autolumination.com, and get some of their super bright xenon bulbs. I installed those in my dome light, and it is like daylight inside the cab at night. I can't even look at the domelight. And their shipping is super fast.
 
^^^HAHAHA!! I did that like 6months ago!! Xenon Hyper White bulbs....incandescents. light the hell out of the interior. So long they aren't those 212-2/44mm festoon bulbs...those light up crappy hense my reasoning to ditch the stang dome light. lol. Rockin' the stock 'bubble' dome with 906 autolumination xenon hyper white bulbs and no center bulb.

as previously stated.... out of an '04 Ford F series (F-150 Heritige)
in case your wondering the center bulb is a blue led, the "map lights" are regular bulbs that came with the F-150.

Anyone know how to get the 3 bulb dome light, map lights to work in a single cab, original single bulb style fixture? The center bulb lights with the door but I can't get the individual map lights to work.
 
You need to send a full time hot wire up to the light because the only time it gets power right now is when the door is open

sent by another dumbass using Tapatalk.
