I've always been told that roller motors are pretty good about not "meshing" the lifter to the pushrod.
On this 3.0 I've taken apart, I have the lifters and pushrods in order, but the rockers got jambled out of order a bit. None of the pushrods or rockers look wore...think it will be ok? Or should I buy a whole new outfit? I ask because I can get it cheaper this weekend if I need to, but all seems to look in good shape. Just don't want to go through this hell again. Thanks, alex. |

If it's only the rockers I would just go ahead and put them in. Worse case scenario, you would only have to remove the valve covers to replace them.
