i thought some of you guys would enjoy them, ill take more tomorrow

feel free to post up any cool grafitti youlve found

o and ill get up a pic of my attemp of tagging

There is a difference between tagging and graffiti, graffiti is art I enjoy looking at, tagging is done by douche bag **** sticks marking territory and not artistic in any way.

nice. always been a fan of graffiti. Some of these kids can lay down paint with unbelievable skill.

I just don't like it when its done without consent. don't paint where your not supposed to.

this is at my moms work, its a totally "green" operation, so instead of waisting money painting over it, they ask local artists to come in and tag/paint all they want, as long as there is nothing "offensive" or gang related they can do whatever they want
and hans, all the "grafitti" was actually just painted over to make room for more tomorrow, there was a frog and a gorilla tha you could sware was real, and i think tagging is the most interesting form of grafitti, and no, all of the people who i saw today were actually really nice, respectful people jus looking for a way to express themselves legally,
so no, its not douchebags, its artists, and no there not kids, the youngest one there today painting was around 30

o and the building is a fertilizer factory, started as a buisness project in princton univercity(the plant is in trenton new jersey) and the CEO is only about 25, he quit princeton durring freshman year to start the company, now hae makeing about 6 mil a year
i think hes doing allright

and all the artwork is with full concent and encouraged by the staff(and some is done by the staff)

You're missing my point, there is a difference between graffiti and tagging. Tagging a purely gang related marking of territory and is done by douchebag gang members and is not artistic. Graffiti is nice to look it and takes real talent (like what has been done to that building).

truly i guess to each is own, but i consider that all grafitti
its all artistic to me and takes more work, practace, and investment than you can imagine
like the 3rd 4th and 5th pics up, that guy drove 2 hours to come there to paint
and there is nothing gang related on that building, at all, they make sure of that, its just nick names
and signatures

Dude, open your eyes and read what I'm saying, I'm making it perfectly clear, Don't use the term "Tagging" when talking about the art work graffiti done on that building, it has nothing to do with tagging, tagging is purely gang related marking of territory, hence why it's called "tagging". Everything on that building is graffiti and is amazing to look at.

ok hans , i thought you meant that, they were tags(which is what most or em call them) but now i see what your saying, just wait till i get my shot with joe,(3rd f4th and 5th up), and leroy(last pic, the real colorful stuff on the right, not finished) waching closley over my shoulder, helping me out with my first spray

about 5 or 6 down is a picture of a tire..., it got painted solid brown, so tomorrow i might paint there, on the right side of the gutter

i might be doing a maltece cross, with a skull in the middle, i think, not sure yet(mabe flames comeing off it)
or if anyone knew who indian larry was, i might do the question cross, with a couple changes

ya i was gonna put brooklyn love on top and 49 to 04 under it

Hahns means "tagging" as in marking territory, "tag" as in claim this as their own instead of expressing themselves in an artistic way without bringing hatred out towards others in their works

wow thanks for posting that up man, they sure do have some skill

just wait, im leaveing to go back in a couple hours, today is the jam, these were just the before pix, i cant wait until the other guys come , like from texas, california, mischigan, i belive one is comeing from france, from all over
yesterday, it was 3 locals(that have keys to the building, just so they can paint whenever there in the mood) 1 from philly(the guy in the blue shirt, BASE, is what that says BTW, i think the b should be more pronounced tho), and one from florida
