ok i was on a mission trip this past week and one of the houses we worked on had an old 1st gen ranger, and i talked to the guy about it and he told me it ran, and that he'd give it to me for $200 it has a 4 cyl, manual trans, 2wd long bed, and i am debating whether or not i should get it, and if i do get it that would make 3 rangers and im not real sure about it any imput would be helpful

That sounds like a great deal, is the body in good shape? Could be one of those wheeler projects where you just build on it at your leisure. Then again a long bed may be too long for that - never built one, but have considered it . . .
If you don't go for it shoot me a PM, I am thinking of getting an older Ranger to play with on the side.

pssst - don't tell my 95 she might get jealous - LOL.

body is in ok shape, the drivers side window is broken out, but other than that this thing is a sweet deal. where bouts are you from in north texas?

First gens are sweet I would get it, they are starting to get scare so for 200 bucks I'd jump on it. Worst case scenario you scrap it and make your money back.

hey thats just around the bend hazmat, james ive already got a 1st gen and a 3rd gen but i would really like a 2wd 1st gen, im torn between working on my 4wd 1st gen and undertaking a new 1st gen
