we already have the 351 and its been rebuilt so we decided to keep it and we scored 2 dana 44's and a 9 inch for 100$ we took the dana with the cast wedges and took it apart to use as spare parts and the other 44 and 9 inch are going to be totally rebuilt

both the 9 ich and the dana 44 have 4.10 gears and both are currently welded we are going to leave the rear welded and change the front out with a lunchbox locker...

bringing the motor over early next week...

Are you wanting to sell those interior pieces? Also truck looks good.

Guess you guys decided on that 4-speed huh. I'll have to go get it while I'm off this week.

Can you believe these guys want to do all this work and put it on 35"s? I'm trying to convince them 38" or bigger.

BTW, im in for a metal fab business. That'd rock.

interior is gone... we are looking for what ever tire size we can afford at the time lol.. its being done on the cheaper side...

not much of an update but this about where i want the ride height to be..i wanna keep it as low as i can... the ruler in the pic is 36" tall and thats with about a 3" lift on the body

well thanks to combs customs for hooking us up with the axles for cheap and the deal on the 4-speed and bell housing... thanks again man....

Anytime. I gotta have some badass truck to wheel with whenever i get around to finishing the Bronco.

well now that you have a normal job you might actually be able to work on it lol

ok well some things have changed from original plan...

now going with a 302 instead of 351... selling the 351 and c6 for 500$ if anyone is interested they both came out of a 79 ford bronco and they both worked great when pulled...

its also probably going to get a flat bottom, rock slidders, roll cage that ties into the front and rear bumper(maybe),

we also have this neat idea for getting 4 seats in the truck comfortable.. not giving away the idea yet you will just have to wait and see

and at the rate we keep coming up with ideas who knows when and what this truck will look like in the end

Alright did some work to the truck today... got the stock engine crossmember cut out so we can drop the 302 in.. bolted the trans to the motor and set them both in there..

planning on moving the motor back to the point where we have to cut away some of the fire wall.. also thanks to combscustoms again cause he is hooking us up with about 120 feet of 1.75x.120 tubing for free... :D

Glad i could help. I see you got the shifter off. Is that gonna be flat bottom or does it have to tuck up a little higher?

Picked up the tires yesterday. They are 37X12.5 r16 they are used but got a great deal on them. $100!!!

going for the flat bottom... going to have to cut out more of the fire wall and trans tunnel to put the motor as far back as i want to...
