well, i sold my truck, so i could buy a car. i still have my other ranger that is currently my daily driver, but with the price of gas i needed something different. the previous owner wrecked it, and thats how i bought it. its still drivable, but it will need a radiator, a/c condenser, hood, fender, lights and grille. im not sure if i can save the core support or not. on to the pics...

i spent $700, i think it was still just a little high, but thats okay. and no, the discs are staying on my car thank you very much...

damn dude, i woulda traded for my other ranger. i had to sell it to get the escort. wish i woulda knew....

I had a '95 Escort LX with a straight Monza exhaust(no cat) with a tuner muffler(not by choice, it's how it came) and it sounded so cool and LOUD. I ran it to 189,000 miles and junked it(safety reasons) and bought a Cobalt.

All in all, the escort might be a chick car, but it is very easy to work on and is reliable.

FIND THE PARTS ON EBAY!!! EBAY IS OUR ALLY!!!

ya i got the full blown chick car vertion of the escort/zx2.....but very easy to work on,,,,i just want to get rid of it

i wish i could find something like that
that thing is sweet
especally cuz its manual

i wouldnt own it if it was an auto. :fie:

need to make a junkyard run and try to find some parts...

hey stegomon, got pics of the z?

I would swap out those seat belts for something lower profile that doesn't move around.. in car accidents they've been known to rip your scalp from your head..

good luck getting ass in that thing

nice, but one thing i wanna know, why is the seat belt like that?

Its motorized. When you open the door it moves forward, and then when you close it it slides back into position. That way you can suffer brain trauma without having to move your seat belt.

I will never buy, drive, or ride in a car with those.. again.

oh, wow that looks like a person that 800 pounds tryin to get it on with my minature dog

I remember those belts but I don't see the mechanics of it scalping you. You have to do the lap part yourself, so if you neglect that, then I can see some issues. I found them annoying.
