Default Server too busy?

Hey Jim,
I've gotten a "vBulletin Message" "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later." 3 or 4 times in the last 2 days. Saw a post where you mentioned checking the error log and figured I should let you know. Type at ya later. Thanks!

Interesting..

I got the message at 8:32/33 PM GMT -4. I think it's something more lower level that Jim might not have any control over. Like a cronned script that's running at 8:30 that's causing the CPU usage to spike. But I don't know honestly, that would be my first guess though.

It generally clears up within a few minutes, it's not a big deal. IMO.

Just seems like something that happens from time to time. The error times you were getting are evening times which are when the most users are logged in, hence when the server is the busiest. Sometimes the server just gets a little overloaded and has to catch up. This isn't the only site that happens on.

Well, seeing as it is what this thread is about, I'll post it here.

I have never gotten that messge until a few weeks ago. And starting on Friday or Saturday (28th/29th) the site will be working just fine, and then I get that message.. Click refresh, get it agian, try the main forum page, up it comes agian. TRS home and all that works, but that isn't part of the forums either. This goes on for 10-20 minutes of not being able to view anything on the forums, and then it goes back to working for a while. This has happened about once every day since (a couple days it happened multiple times, and others not at all).
