problem with ignition switch is causing chime to run randomly.
I would like to cut wire from ignition to module to stop chime but
have no idea which it is. I have module exposed.
Are you sure it is the ignition key?
The chime comes on when key is in ignition and door is OPEN, warning to not lock your keys in the car, if it is coming on randomly when driving I would suspect door open sensor, which is a more common issue on Rangers
