let's just say JCWhitney.com has ARB lockers for $377 for the d35 and 8.8.....

d35: that "fits" the 92 ex, Meaning it's for the TTB

8.8 31 spline:

8.8 28 Spline:

so it says for the d35 that it's supports 3.54/1 ratio and up... I thought the d35 didn't have carrier breaks... how's this work?

I thought I got a deal for my front locker at $700...

I think I might order a rear one, I'm only speculating on having a spot to use it, but at that price...

I could be wrong, but ARB's use their own carrier, but they have a thick and thin ring gear to run the gear set of your choice with their split.

ARB locker replaces the carrier...

4x4Junkie said in a post from 2012 that he's using the RD102 in his B2 and he's rocking 4.56 gears.

correction...

RD102 is for 4.56... it's 3.54 and up (numerically higher)... so 4.10's 4.56's 4.88's
RD103 is for 3.31 and down, 3.21's, etc...

No way, I could get one for my rear 8.8!

make sure you get the right one.... 28 spline vs 31 spline

RD81 = 31 Spline 8.8

RD82 = 28 Spline 8.8

And as 4.0B2 already stated for the Dana 35,

RD102 = 3.55, 3.73, 4.10, 4.56, etc.

RD103 = 3.31, 3.08, 2.72, etc.

Yeah I have the 28 spline. Hopefully I can do it as a summer project.

Dammit, it was just too good, I ordered one of each.

I'll either sell it to friends and make a few bucks on the install, or just outright sell them on E-bay. I was only going to get one, but I get paid on Thursday, so it's not as big of a hit as it'll seem.

Are they on sale?

Got my "order is being processed" e-mail, still $377.12 apiece. Looks like it's going through. We'll see if it actually ships.

JCWhitney's service reps said they are honoring the price till Corporate fixes it...

So I wonder if it'd be better to just call, or order online. I just ordered online.

Now I'm wondering if I should have just called and cut out the "middle man" to get my order in faster.

they said they would honor the prices for whoever ordered at that price.

calling does get you a 5% discount though... $358 a piece.
