Exclamation clutch

ok the other day my clutch went soft and i checked the fulid level it was almost empty so i added some and then tryed bleeding it but it wont bleed what do u guy think happened i think i might of blown the pressure plate

How do you "blow" a pressure plate?

If you lost fluid, it went somewhere. Probably out the slave, but inspect for other leaks.

1990 VW Jetta GL, 1.8L 8V gasoline engine, manual transmission, painted in oxidized red paint and ponderosa pine sap, unknown mileage.

1991 Exploder, 4.0L, M5OD-R1 manual transmission, electronic BW1354 transfer case, 3.54 gears, 31 inch tires, icky two-tone blue paint with little clear coat, 230K miles.

1972 Chevy C-10, 250 I-6, SM465 (2WD) four-on-the-floor, 3.73 gears in a GM 12-bolt, puke green with a white cab. The "4 wheeled trash can," with x70K miles. x is probably 2.

+1, it probly is the slave. Check for leaks.

your slave cyl is bad i would replace both the cyl and the lines that go to it

lol bein stuiped i did a power brake bout 30 foot and then the clutch went soft

well i think it was a seal not the plate but how hard a is a slave cylinder 2 put in

You have to pull the transmission since the slave is internally mounted. Plan a lot of time.

It's not necessary (and rather expensive) to replace the line. Only do so if it is damaged or leaking.

It's only available from the dealer and comes with a master cylinder attached.
