Does the 2wd with a 4.0L come with the 8.8? I read here that 90-97 4wd have 8.8 rears but I was wondering if the 2wd came with it ever and in what years.

all 4.0L's are suppose to come with an 8.8. 1wd 2wd or 4 wheel drive.
a 4.0L will break a 7.5. my 3.0 broke my 7.5 so go figure.
