What is the plug gap for a 1991 Ford Explorer 4.0?

Also, does anyone have a link for a 91 Explorer/Ranger manual download?

Thanks!

Okay the gap is .052-.056" but I still need a manual.

www.fordcds.com
or autozone.com and navigate to the online manuals for your year and model.
not the best but they work

Any particular reason you need a DOWNLOAD? I find it exceedingly inconvenient to climb out from under the truck, turn the computer on, get greasy fingerprints all over the keyboard (and my 2 year old -- he'll want a hug), navigate through a menu, get what I want, print it out, and go back to the truck, when all I really needed to do was turn a page....

And you won't find the factory manuals on CD from 1991. CDs were expensive and not very common then. If you do find one, it will be an after-the-fact scan, and will be much less readable than a printed copy as a result.

The typical Autozone (Alldata) CDs are virtually identical to subsets of the Haynes manual. Without the photos.

I have tons of manuals on my laptop and its way handy to go from job to job. Besides I don't really need them during the job. I usually read the parts I need to understand and pencil down torque specs. Very rarely do I work on similar vehicles twice so having a ton of manuals and DVD's covering multiple brand years is just awesome.

Hugs & Auto Manuals

MAKG, I hope you have a greasy two year old. They need lots of hugs at that age.

Autozone sells a manual for less than $20.00 - plunk down the money and you'll be happier for it.
